The project to be built is located on Pelicanos Street, Marina Vallarta, in the municipality of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. The building has a residential use and is made up of a tower with 8 upper levels and an underground basement level.

The Tower is structured by a series of rigid reinforced concrete cores, which correspond to elevators and stairs, three-dimensional frames and unidirectional lightened reinforced concrete slabs, punctually combining with solid slab areas.

The main tower has an area of ​​18m x 81m, except for the lobby with a floor area of ​​26m x 91m. The building has a height of 28.48m measured from the street level (N+0.00) and the standard mezzanine height is 3.13m.

The structure of the tower has an “elongated” plan shape, due to the fact that in one of its directions its length is up to 4 times greater than in the perpendicular direction. Having a geometry where the stiffness is much higher in one of its directions, it has been decided to include dissipating walls (in addition to the structural walls) to control the deformations produced by the effect of seismic forces in the direction with less stiffness.

These “decoupled” walls incorporate special connections that prevent force transfer
axial so they can be dimensioned independently of the global structure providing rigidity and ductility to the whole.
